These two guys are the best, and the closest thing to brothers I've ever had. =)
I was really excited when they asked me to do a session for them, I'd been wanting to take pictures of them for a long time. ;)
Winter shoots can be a challenge for lighting, I was happy the clouds cleared enough to give me a little sun, right before sunset.
Keep a look-out for more pics of these two to come, including Tanner's Grad session. =)

A Cold Winter Day

My last outdoor shoot of 2009, it was freezing cold and ridiculously windy - I think I made record time getting this shoot done and still managing to get some fabulous shots.
It was a great end, to a year of learning and shooting. I am so excited for 2010 I can hardly wait to start bookings and shootings!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!

3 and All Boy!

My oldest son is all boy - we have a ridicules supply of hats lying around so I grabbed a few and had a fun little photo session with Rhys.

Showing off his first tooth!

I couldn't resist snapping a quick shot of Keegan showing off his first tooth -
not sure where his other teething are hiding out, but I have a feeling they will be here soon!

My Beautiful "Sister-In-Law"

Callista is amazing, she works incredibly hard and is an amazing mother. I really wanted to capture her strength as a woman, and her beauty.
I feel like the fourth picture especially captures the look of a strong, yet graceful woman.

Best Friends

I had the opportunity to go along on a photoshoot and learn some new tricks!!
We got eaten alive by mosquitos but managed to get some good shots anyways!!
The shoot was of three best friends who had grown up together, the photographer was Grant Forysthe Step-Dad to one of the girls. I really appreciated Grant taking the time to show me some great tips not to mention taking some fun pics in the process!!

2 Month Portraits

Ethan's already 2 months old!! During an afternoon visit I decided he needed some up-dated pictures to show off his cuteness!!
He is one very happy and contented little guy

Big brother Mason took a few minutes from playing so I could capture a sweet picture of him lovin' his little brother. :)

A new "Nephew"!!

Ethan James, decidedly late and I was so impatient for his birth! Although I thought for sure he would be a girl!!
Cute as a button he was excitedly welcomed by his Daddy, Mommy, and big brother Mason September 23rd.
Welcome to the world Ethan!!

Trash The Dress Session 2

This is my second Trash the Dress session with Ilsa - by far my favorite session. In the end the dress was really trash, but on purpose. Ilsa was such a trooper, it was so, so cold I'm sure it could have snowed!!
I love the mystery of the River bottom, and the adventure of finding so many amazing places to use as shoot ground. We had so much fun during this session ... especially on an old dead tree -- it made for amazing pictures but was a challenging finding a good spot to sit or stand without falling through the dead branches!!

Trash The Dress Session 1

My gorgeous model Ilsa - she is absolutely fabulous to work with!!
We got this wedding dress off of Freecycle to do a demonstration Trash the Dress shoot - of course, we Trashed the Dress very tastefully!!
Here are four of over 700 pictures we took in just over 2 hours. We had so much fun!!
The dress had lots of life in it afterward, so a few months later we took the dress out again for a second session and I'm ever so glad we did as we got some more really fabulous shots in another location.

My "Nephew" turns 1!!

Jack is one of the smartest little boys ever, he is full of spunk and personality and will amuse you for hours. I promise a few minutes around this little guy and you will definitely be smiling or laughing. Jackson keeps his Dad and Mom very busy, and has an amazing vocabulary for a one-year-old!!

My Little Teddy Bear

Yet another session with my little guy. We borrowed this big teddy bear from a friend, and then I raided the house for any little teddy bears I could find. Made for a perfect picture - I think I'm going to need to invest in a big bear for future shoots!

Last perfect day of Fall...

I met Michelle on Facebook, she randomly added me and said she too is passionate about Photography. We ended up heading down to the River bottom on what I considered to be the last 'perfect' day of Fall to do a shoot.
Michelle is very pretty, but my focus was mainly of her eyes. Eyes are the first thing that catch my attention in any shoot... I wanted to capture more then her just posing. I was very happy with the end result of our afternoon together.

3 Months Old

My little guy growing up so fast, making sure I don't miss a single month!!
